It’s all about beautiful divas this month as Ashley reveals how to get a cute 40’s style ‘do like pop princess Kylie Minogue and Rupert reveals how to get the X-Factor with your make-up like Kylie's singing sister Dannii. Rupert also lets us in on the goss backstage at ITV show Saturday Night Divas, for his dream day-out come true, as he spent time with Girls Aloud and Myleene Klass talking about make-up (how can he ever top that?)! Jodie Marsh is the latest victim in desperate need of a makeover, and boy does she need one! Also, don't forget to enter our competitions, and take in more beauty tips, gossip and lots more, so sit back and release your inner Diva!
October has been an amazing month for new<id cosmetics but the highlight has definitely been visiting the London Studios to meet The Saturday Night Divas! This amazing show was aired on ITV1 on Saturday the 3rd of November. Presented by Myleene Klass, this one-off programme, featured some top female singers performing classic tracks. ITV1 described it as "a musical extravaganza, which sees some of the world's biggest and most glamorous divas taking to the stage to strut their stuff and sing like only they know how”.
The show - in association with four of the UK's top Breast Cancer charities - marks the conclusion of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, with an invited audience of fundraisers and campaigners coming together for the celebration.
I was lucky enough to be backstage introducing all the celebrities to new<id cosmetics and handing out products and goody bags!
Natasha Bedingfield looked gorgeous and said that she already knew the range, in particular the bronzer, so I gave her another and showed her i-smoulder which she thought was great.
Chaka Khan is a complete hero of mine, having grown up listening to her music. She loved the new make-up brushes and i - fix! She very kindly gave me a copy of her new album which hasn’t even been released yet!
Jamelia looked stunning as usual and she really liked all the glosses, and loved the brushes as she said she needed some new ones. She was also bowled over by i - smoulder as she loves smoky eyes but can never normally do them.
The fabulous Myleene Klass lit up the room when she walked in, and gushed about the range before giving me two big kisses in return for her goodie bag!
Girls Aloud swept through like a whirlwind. They really are friendly and very cheeky and they are all now the proud owners of a complete set of new<id cosmetics. I was amazed when Sarah Harding squealed ‘Wow! we never get presents like this!’
Finally to top off an amazing evening, I was graced by the presence of the extraordinary Leona Lewis! She was beautiful but very unassuming and modest, and quietly looked at the range with me while I put together a gift bag of all her favourite products.
It really was an evening to remember and I had my photos taken with everyone. It was great to get such fantastic feedback from such iconic stars and exciting to know that they are all fans of new<id cosmetics!

How we love our new X factor judge!
Here’s how to get the look. Dannii has a naturally radiant complexion, so start with a good dusting of i - glow in ice pop all over your face and neck. Now apply i - bronze in Rio to the tops of your cheekbones, forehead, tip of the nose and tip of the chin, and blend well using the powder brush. Now recreate Dannii’s stunning cheekbones with i - blush trio and the Angled Blusher Brush. Suck in those cheeks and sculpt under the bones with the warm brown from the trio palette. Now give a big smile and dust the rose pink colour on to the apples of your cheeks. Next use the eyeliner end of i - smoulder in charcoal along your top lashes, then use the eye-shadow sponge at the other end to soften the line. Finish your eyes with plenty of mascara. Don’t forget to groom your eyebrows into a high arch using i - fix and finish the look with pink bliss lipstick glammed up with a generous slick of tickled pink lip gloss!

Jodie Marsh has forked out on some new assets recently, allegedly, and she obviously has a bit of money as she bought two and she definitely didn’t skimp on the size. Jodie has never been renowned for her sense of style or air of class, and made her name by wearing two belts as a dress, but it’s time for the new<id fashion and beauty police to take her in for questioning. With a leather harness-style top two sizes too small, drag queen make-up (that’d make her drag queen lookalike Jodie Harsh seem subtle) and hair extensions so plastic they’re a serious fire hazard, Jodie needs to get herself over to our studios for a makeover pronto!
We got hold of International Art Director, Ashley Gaunt, to bend her ear about the trend for our locks this month. Ashley told us that we should be going for a short and textured ‘urchin’ crop with 40’s style set curls, following in pop royalty Kylie Minogue’s footsteps. Ashley explains that after washing your hair, you should place the wet hair in rollers, and let it dry naturally. Use Redken Fresh Curls Spin control to increase the curl and spray some Redken Headset 25 to set the curl. Colour-wise, steer clear of highlights and go for darker block colours of coppers and reds.

It has been quite a choc-a-block newsletter this month, what with Rupert having his dream day out - chatting to lots of beautiful celebrity ladies about make-up, new<id cosmetics becoming more and more popular with the fashionista's and celebrities alike, the Minogue sisters inspiring us with our make-up and hair, and Jodie Marsh erm.. not inspiring us.
This month I advise you to release your inner Diva, by making sure you're confident in all that you do, spoil yourself with a beauty treat at least once a week, and generally love your gorgeous, fabulous self!
