Sexy curls are the order of the day this month. Get your tressles into shape and follow these hints to get soft sexy curls.

We caught up with Yuki Fung, Artistic Director  to get some great top tips for getting great soft natural curls without stepping inside a salon:  Wash your hair the day before. Use a good conditioner for soft manageable hair. Then while hair is damp prep your hair with spray starch and then put hair in plaits. Sleep on your hair and then in the morning undo your plaits.   This will create soft, sexy curls. For messy, sultry curls prepare your hair in the same way and then while damp section your hair into 7 or 8 strands and twist around into little buns. Fasten with a grip and sleep on it. Got a hot date for Feb the 14th? Need a new smouldering look to bag that man? How about some Bollywood glamour (a la Shilpa Shetty) to spice up your make-up routine.

Its all about the eyes! Use a shimmering highlighter from lash line so brow line then apply a shimmering nude colour to the moving part of the lid from lash line so the socket. This look is all about eyeliner. First run a black pencil inside the lower lashes and underneath your eye. Apply several times and blink hard - this will transfer the colour all around the eye and make it last a little longer. Now you need to create a little lift in the outside corners of your eye with your eyeliner. First create an imaginary line from the corner of your nose to the corner of you eyebrow. The eye line flick is going to run along this line. Start small then look in the mirror - the longer the flick is the more drama you will create. Finish with plenty of volumising mascara and your favourite lip gloss.

Now dance around your bedroom in a Bollywood style!

Hello again, what an exciting month January has been. At the beginning of the month I was lucky enough to visit New York City the cosmetics capital of the world! Having trawled the department stores for hours I discovered that the big buzz was skin care.

“Colour is for fun but if you want to get serious about the way you look then invest in some skin are” I was told by the immaculate looking girl in Sephora Times Square. This is all very well but where do you start? Simple - you need to find out what your concerns are about your skin. For example dryness, excessive oiliness, fine line and wrinkles loss of firmness or maybe all of the above. Tailor a skin care routine to your life style. There is no point having a six step cleansing routine if you only have 10 minutes to get ready in the morning.
